We are pleased to announce that the WEB version is updated to version 4.2. In this version we improve the UI of a few screens, but more importantly you can join and play in a backgammon tournament that is created at the Tournament iTavli site.
In order to join a tournament you need first to click on the Trophy icon, in the top bar, it is in the middle, with the text “Tournament”.
This will bring up the Tournament dialog:
In this dialog you enter the email and the password that you used to register in the Tournament site. Click on the “Join” button to join the tournament. Do not forget, that you firstly need to join a tournament at the Tournament site.
As with the mobile version, you see the Elo rating of each player, and you see how many points you will win/lose if you win/lose that game. Also, the trophy icon appears only for players that are in your group and you have not played a game with him/her. In contrast with the mobile version, in the WEB version you need to click on the button to Join a tournament every time you visit the iTavli site.
Note, that depending on your browser you may encounter some issues. If this is the case, then please clear the browser cache.
